The Students Can Expect the Instructor to:

| include some questions on the exam that require you to think about the material |

| respond promptly to messages left on my voice-mail or e-mail |
| make efficient use of class time |
| start and end class on time |
| have fun while teaching |
The Instructor Expects the Students to:
| attend class regularly |
| get any notes and assignments from another student for any missed class |
| arrive in class on time (not more than 2 minutes late) |
| ask questions in class (but no unnecessary talking) |
| know how to contact the instructor |
| dedicate time outside of class for study |
| take responsibility for your own learning |
| come to class prepared |
| read (or at least look at) the chapter beforehand |
| bring your textbook (and a few colored pencils) to class |
| participate in group and in-class activities |
| be willing to become involved in the course |
| be courteous—to me and to your classmates |
| have fun while learning |
