My background
As of the present time, I lived an equal amount of time in Korea and the United States; earlier years in Korea, later years in U.S. I came to the U.S.A. as a graduate student at the University of Oregon in Eugene. I vividly recall my experiences as a foreign student who faced many difficulties in a new country.
Now, I am very much involved in the Palomar College International Students Club, which promotes the good will and diversity of different cultures. It is a pleasure to interact with international students and listen to their stories, and try to encourage and help them.
My experience in U.S.A. has been ultimately positive. With a wonderful family and a full-filling occupation, I thank Korea, who raised me from infancy to adulthood, and the U.S.A. who nurtured me with abundant blessings. Love you all!
