1   = Current %

2  = Desired % at end of term 

3  = % of course completed

5   % = What your weighted average needs to be on the remaining tests to get your desired percentage.

Directions

1. In box #1 enter your current average from your grade report.

2. Enter your desired end-of-term percentage in box #2.  

3. In box #3 enter the percentage of the course that has been completed.

4. Click  "Calculate".

5. Look at box #5 to see what you need to do to get what you want.

For example, if your current percentage is 80 (enter in box #1), your desired percentage at the end of the course is 90 (enter in box #2), and 38% of the course has been completed (enter in box #3), then, after you calculate, you can see in box #5 that you must have a weighted average of 96% on the remaining exams and lab practicums to get what you want.
