Can anyone recommend a video that shows and explains an autopsy? I'm teaching an advanced seminar course (for upper level undergraduate bio majors), intro to pathology, and would like to have students see a little bit of all things that pathologists do. I've got plenty of materials on histopathology, could use some resources for gross pathology, autopsies, forensic path.
I found an extraordinary resource for normal anatomy and pathoanatomy teaching: http://www.med.unc.edu/wrkunits/1dean/ois/etg/gavid.htm Films have been digitized for internet use. Both streaming video and downloadable files are available. Some links are broken but much is available. Warning: the files for downloading are large! You will need RealNetworks player software (freely available) to view them. Also, note the links to two other valuable collections of teaching videos (General, Pathology). The bad news: software to edit these is costly (at least $400) and so most of us will need to use them as they are. -Alan =========== HAPS WEBSITE AT http://www.hapsweb.org ======**** To UNSUBSCRIBE**** send e-mail to HAPP-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
