One thing I just thought of and forgot to mention.  If you freeze the serum, it will be good for a long time -- perhaps years.

  One more question regarding the blood/serum sample that I have.  If refrigerated, how
long is it good for? (poor grammar).  I realize the cells will start lysing after a while but the
serum.....?????
