We got it at Elgin Community College the last round of negotiations!
Our primary argument was that labs are even more time intensive for
instructors than lecture - both in terms of prep and actual class time.
There are also the safety/supervision issues.   

It also didn't hurt that our dean is a former chemistry professor who
understood exactly what we meant and backed us up.

Hi, all--it's contract negotiation time of year here, and we are once again
trying to get 1 for 1 credit for lab instruction.  Can anyone give me any
encouraging examples to use as we negotiate?  Didn't someone request info on
this topic last year?  If there is a body of info compiled out there I sure
