Re: [HAPS-L] using two textbooks instead of one...
I and my colleagues sound just like you and yours. Our college requires
that the books used for continuation courses like A&P be not only
uniform by campus, but by district. That way students don't incur new
text charges between semesters, or have to buy different books for
lecture and lab classes on different campuses in the same semester.

Hello All,
I teach a two-semester integrated anatomy & physiology course at a
community college. Lectures and labs are not linked. In other
words, students may have different instructors for lecture and lab.
My colleagues and I have very different ideas about how to judge a
textbook. This may lead to more than one textbook being used in our
A & P course. Has anyone in a similar situation used more than one
book before? If so, has it worked out or has it been too problematic
for students?
Just curious.
