RE: [HAPS-L] conjunctiva



Based on the conJUNCTiva and tymPANic membranes being part of the
integumentary system, I would classify them both at cutaneous.

Is the conjunctiva considered a mucous membrane?  It does secrete 
mucous.  Or do mucous membranes have to line body cavities, as many 
texts decree?

By the way, since we were talking so much about pronunciation...Do you 
say conJUNCTiva or conjuncTIva?
