RE: [HAPS-L] Never assume...

Title: RE: [HAPS-L] Never assume...
Did you know that Thomas Jefferson invented the cat door?  (Even if he didn't, he should have - Benjamin Franklin gets credit for inventing everything else.)

So I ask which parts of the cat go through the opening first, and which last, which part scrapes against the top of the opening and (if your kitties have never missed a meal)  which part scrapes against the bottom of the opening.

Now, imagine if that cheesey supermarket tabloid* is accurate, and there really are space aliens out there who come down to conquer Earth.  Which part of the pet people goes through the people-flap first, which parts last, and so forth.  That way I can show ->for bipeds<-, that anterior /ventral and posterior/dorsal are the same directions, and why.

Our people have zero background - the ones that do have pets don't think about them, much, beyond what they see in TV commercials.

*Unfortunately, my favorite publication has gone belly-up.  Where am I going to find such delightful lunacy as headlines declaring that BILL AND HILLARY ADOPT ORPHANED SPACE ALIEN BABY After Flying Saucer Crashes on White House Lawn!!!!! ?
