FWIW - My wife is a practicing DVM.  The word in the vet community is to stay away from such diets.:)

Hey, I'm going a little into Animal A&P with this, but was curious as to
your take.

 

A student mentioned that she's heard of a new dog food that's a big
craze in Europe.  The body uses so much of the bulk of the material that
the dog only has to have a bowel movement once per week.  She (and I)
expressed concern that this could be detrimental to the dog's health.
Have you heard of such a thing?
