Subject: image compilations

Hapsters,

Can anyone provide the names/web addresses of companies that sell images of gross and microscopic A&P with an emphasis on pathophysiology?  I'm trying to revamp my lectures with more images and figure they will either need to be purchased or  I need to obtain permission to use ones that I come across in various websites.

How have your experiences been in trying to obtain permission to use images you find on the web, in terms of using them in ways that exceed fair use (therefore require permission)?   I'm trying to figure out whether it will be easier to purchase them or write many emails and trying to track down the owners of images/animations/illustrations but save money this way.

If anyone here has various images that they have the copyright for and don't mind sharing in another instructors ppt (with appropriate acknowledgement given) please let me know.  It doesn't hurt to ask :)   I'm looking for anything that will enhance A&P I and A&P 2 courses.

Thanks,
