Snake River
The Snake is one of six rivers in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem that eventually drain into the Pacific Ocean via the Columbia River. Two other river drainage systems in the area lead to either the Gulf of Mexico or the Sea of Cortez. The magnificent Tetons in the background are but one of eleven mountain ranges that help define the GYE.
