New eBook Reader by Netronix

Netronix has released a new eBook Reader called the EB-300. It is a Windows CE based device and features a 9.7-inch "E Ink" touchscreen display with four gray scales, 1200 x 825 pixel resolution, WiFi, Bluetooth, and an SD expansion slot. I was unable to find any information about where it can be purchased and how much it costs.

Academic Use of the Amazon Kindle

The State News has posted an article about using eBooks on campus. The article mentions the Kindle, but is written about eBooks in more general terms. One point of interest is that McGraw-Hill Education already offers more than 1000 digital textbooks "at half the cost of traditional print counterparts", although they are not available for the Kindle or any other standalone eBook reader.
