MBTI TM Overview

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator - MBTI TM instrument is the most widely used personality inventory in history. It can be used to make important business, career, or personal decisions. Last year alone, two million people gained valuable insight about themselves and the people they interact with daily by taking the MBTITM instrument.

There is a total of 93 questions on the MBTI Step I Form M TM inventory. The questions help you determine preferences on four scales:

  • Extraversion-Introversion
  • Sensing-Intuition
  • Thinking-Feeling
  • Judging-Perceiving.

Your answers to these questions will help show how you like to look at things and how you like to go about deciding things. There are no "right" or "wrong" answers. Knowing your own preferences and learning about other people's can help you understand what you strengths are, what kinds of work you might enjoy, and how people with different preferences can relate to one another and contribute to society.

Your MBTI TM Career Report will not be printed and mailed to you until the Career Center has received your material fee receipt.

Please refer to the course overview for more information.
