Overview

At this point, you should have completed Part A and received your MBTI Career Report and Strong Report in the mail. I have personally reviewed your reports and written comments on them for your review. It is important that you read the reports and comments carefully.

The reports will provide ideas about career fields to research and explore and provide you information about your career motivators, personality preferences, and the kind of work environment that you would enjoy.

In Part B you will review your MBTI and Strong results, verifying the results. Part B includes two research assignments, one that should be completed in the Palomar College Career Center if possible.

Session B Objectives

• List your general occupational theme, basic interests and personal styles using your personalized Strong Report.
• Identify your personality type and associated work preferences using the MBTI Career Report.
• Learn about the resources needed to complete the research assignment.
• Complete the career research assignment, part 1 and 2.
