My personal example

My reported type is INFP and my preferences: Introversion, Intuition, Feeling and Perceiving seem to fit me very well.

I am definitely an introvert as I enjoy time alone to reflect and recharge my batteries and I tend to think carefully about what I say. My intuition is very dominant...I am generally future focused making plans and creating goals for the future and I enjoy the bigger picture rather then details. I like to come up with new and different ways of doing things. I would say my heart rules in the decision making dept. as I am a strong feeler...I focus on the people and circumstances of a situation and not just the facts. I am perceiving in many ways, although at work I often behave in an orderly and decisive manner. In my life in general, I like to keep options open, go with the flow...and hold out on making a decision because you never know what else might come up.

I agree with the following statements: can work alone on projects, time to reflect, communicate in writing rather than face-to-face or by phone, focus on people, do things your own way, work with language and other symbols, focus on the future, and take the initiative to start new projects.
