David Edward and Jennifer Valene

are proud to announce the birth of

Daniel Thomas Gray
born on 6.21.2003
at 12:22 p.m. PST
weighing 9 lb. 3 oz.
and being 21 in. long.

Jennifer was very pregnant.

And to the hospital we went.

Waiting in the hospital was tedious...

But Jenni and HoneyBear played some Yatzee! with Kate.

After much ado, Daniel is born!

They move us to another room in the hospital...

In the hospital Daniel had several exams...

But after each, he went right back to sleep.

Daniel was visited in the hospital by Opa, Uncle Thomas, and Aunt Hannah, but he pretty much slept through the visits.

In the car on the way home, Daniel was real quiet, and was tuckered by the time we got there.

Finally, Mom and Baby get some rest!

And Vern is relieved that everyone is finally home.

And HoneyBear can't wait until Daniel is big enough to play!
