Dean Edell Extra Credit

When: Dean Edell is currently on AM radio station 640 out of L.A. Powerful station yet in some areas is hard to get. You may have to put your radio next to a window or use a car radio.

Sat from 2-3 pm

Sun from 2-3 pm.

Assignment: Listen to the one hour radio show. Take notes of what the callers ask and topics discussed.

Written report: Immediately after listening to the program write three paragraphs. The first paragraph you should list and briefly explain the different subjects brought up by Dr. Dean Edell and the callers. The second paragraph should be expanding on one of the topics and why you found it interesting. The third paragraph is just one or two sentences of your opinion of the show. I know there are a lot of commercials, don’t tell me that!

It must be a one page, spell and grammar checked computer written document. Make it interesting-learn something and enjoy!

Note: If you wait until the last possible hour or day to hear the show I can almost guarantee the show will be interrupted for a football, baseball, world news or some other special broadcast. Too Bad! Get this assignment done early. Also-I listen almost every day so I know if you are faking it! Don’t-this is a good assignment.

Dean Edell on the internet. Go to http://www.kgoam810.com/home.asp and select the small tab in the middle of the page called archive. Select the 1:00pm hour and you can hear the show from the day before. (His show is live from Mon-Fri from 1-2pm) Your write-up should be the same procedure as noted above.
