Background

I grew up in La Paz, Bolivia (the heart of South America). After high school came to California to visit and ended up staying. After graduating from Orange Coast College, had the opportunity to live in Paris, France. Back in California finished a BA and back to Europe, this time to study in Denmark. The Golden State pulled me back, this time I finished an MA in economics with the idea of changing the world. Somehow that avenue was closed and I was offered a teaching job and I have been teaching economics for many years!!! I also have worked as an expert witness in economics for ten years.

Interests, Activities & Plans

Currently I'm a full time instructor at Palomar College, my main goal is to learn how to design classes that are interesting, current and fun!! I  use instructional multimedia to supplement my students education in economics...This is why I got a second Masters Degree, this one in Educational technology.

Other Interesting Things I like all sports. Happily married with a wonderful lady, beautiful daughter and I'm also fortunate enough to have a wonderful dog.  Spend too much time playing games on my computer. Trilingual in Spanish, English and French. Love to dance, eat and be merry!!
