                POSITION  PAPER

Purpose :   To enable the student to
demonstrate their ability to conduct and 
evaluate research in the area of American
Indian History/Culture covered in this course
at a college level of competency.

Format :  Maximum 4 pages in length,
Minimum 4 pages in length, word processed
/ typed (10-12 pt. font)
, using MS WORD or WORKS
or RTF, double-spaced in correct college grammar and
punctuation, references must be cited in the paper where
appropriate (MLA Style is required ). 
Works Cited Page must be included as
the fifth page. Submit a copy of your paper to my email
below and for safety submit one online at Blackboard in
the communication section.

Due Date :  _March 11th Midnight.  LATE
PAPERS WILL HAVE THEIR GRADE REDUCED
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LATENESS
(USUALLY 1 GRADE PER DAY) !!!!!

Topic :         You are to choose the most significant Native
American
 that you believe played the most
significant role in the political / historical
development of American Indian - Federal
policy for 3 specific reasons. This person
must be from the time period of 1607-1890.
