                                hOW dO yOU tURN tHE pAGE?

Locating information in a book was easy.  Pages turn back and forth with the flick of a finger.  You look at the table of contents to know what is in the book and to mark a favorite page, you just need anything to stick between the pages in order to find it again.  The Browser is the software used to provide controls so that you can do some of these same things on the Internet.  You may use Internet Explorer or Netscape as your Browser.  The tools will function the same in each one but they may be given different names.  The tools we'll describe are for Internet Explorer.
