        sO WHAT'S A sECONDAY sOURCE?

Most of the information sources that you use will be secondary sources.  It is information in a book, article, etc. that is based on someone else's research or experience.   In other words, secondary information is based on primary information.

    ----Examples;  A novel is a primary source.  A review or criticism of the  
                                               novel is a secondary source.

                                Census figures are primary sources. An article in a magazine
                                             analyzing these figures is a secondary source.

                                 The Constitution of the United States is a primary source.  
                                             An article in a magazine analyzing these figures is a
                                             secondary source.
