to a

New Academic Year of Making History

in the Classroom

For the Spring Semester, 2008 students in the "live", on-campus sections of my History of the Americas classes will create their own Digital Portfolio of projects and assignments. Web pages and PowerPoint presentations will be included within every student's Digital Portfolio.

During this upcoming semester we will be investigating several of my favorite subjects, the American Revolution, the colonial and the post-Independence period in Latin America

And of course we will be exploring history through films, in movies such as Amistad, The Patriot, Black Robe, Last of the Mohicans, and Glory.
