| Political,
economic, and social development of the Latin American
republics, including a brief survey of the colonial
period and the wars for Independence. Particular focus
on the development of the nations of Argentina, Brazil,
Cuba and the Caribbean, Central America, Mexico, and the
Andean Nations, as well as inter-American relations in
the twentieth century. |
