Messier 57 (M57 - nicknamed the "Ring Nebula") is a
planetary nebula found in Lyra. It is the remnant of a star like the
sun that finished its life-cycle by ejecting its outer layers leaving
behind a stellar remnant called a white dwarf. The image is a
combination of 25 minutes (300 second subs) with a ST7 for luminance,
and a 24 minute (60 second subs) image using the DSLR for color.
