JUPITER, MERCURY, & 1-DAY OLD MOON
(click on the image for a larger version)		My wife and I were about to leave for a dinner-date when I spotted a very young crescent Moon with Mercury and Jupiter low on the horizon.  I ran inside to grab the camera and snapped a few hastily taken photos on my travel mini-tripod.  I didn't have time to find a better location away from the powerlines.. darnit.  My thanks to my wife for being so patient with me while I snapped a dozen photos. xoxo. -  ISO 1600 -  F/5.6 -  2 second exposure -  Travel tripod mount -  Location: Home 12.28.2008
