The Whirlpool Galaxy. The conditions were less
than ideal and the seeing was not too good when this image was taken.
There is a bit of a blur and the stars are a bit bloated but a
respectable image none-the-less. A second image was combined with
the color image to bring out the stellar details.

- 3 minute exposures (x 7); 21 minutes total for colors
- 30 seconds (x60); 30 minutes total for stellar
- Direct images through the 14.5" Newtonian for colors
- Direct images through the LX200 for stellar
