Podcasts are audio or video files centered on a particular topic or theme that can be downloaded to your portable MP3 player (such as an iPod) or they can be heard/viewed on your computer. Podcasts are sometimes professionally made, or sometimes made by beginners, but there are many good ones related to astronomy. They are an excellent study tool to help you comprehend the course topics and they can help you learn more about astronomy - beyond the classroom.
