Life is too short for nasty beer!
Once upon a time I was like many American beer drinkers. The mass-market-multi-million-dollar advertising by Budweiser, Miller, Coors, etc. had duped me into thinking that fizzy yellow beer was good stuff. However friends of mine rescued me and introduced me to what real beer is all about… beer that is micro-brewed by master beer craftsmen that know how to make big-beers. A whole new world of hoppy goodness and malty flavor was opened up to me and I never looked back! It was an epiphany for me. Now as I wander the grocery aisles I sail past the cases full of nasty beer and do my beer shopping at BevMo and other local liquor stores that share the dream. Unfortunately I live in Temeculand where the locals there consider Fat Tire to be a “good” microbrew.  No thanks.  Finding craft brews in Southern Riverside County ain't easy. I long for the local pub that has long rows of beer taps that have names on them that only big-beer drinkers would know. For now, I head south to San Diego where award winning microbrewers craft their ales.  I visit those pubs that are crowded with thirsty beer drinkers who gather and marvel at the dark, amber, tasty brews on tap.  Cheers!
