Since 1990, I have held the title of Artist in Residence at Palomar College.  Under this program, part of my duties for the College include regularly preparing and presenting performances through the Performing Arts Department.  The program gives me time to prepare performances for the College, and is funded through the Palomar College President’s Associates.  This is a group organized through the Palomar College Foundation.  In addition, donations in support of the Artist in Residence Program can be made to the Artist in Residence Endowment of the Palomar College Foundation.  This endowment is gradually accumulating principal, in the hopes that in the years to come there can always be an Artist in Residence Program here at Palomar.

In my experience, Palomar College is unique in sponsoring this program.  It is one of the few programs of its kind in Community Colleges throughout the nation.
