Starting a Project on

Remember that the timeline for non-linear editing consists of “pointers” which are samples of the original media. Because of this it is critical that you be organized and know the location of your true media. The RTV computers are shared and thus, settings change from student to student. You must be prepared for this.

Step 1 - Open Final Cut Pro
Step 2 - Open a New Project
Step 3 - Set Scratch Disks
Step 4 - Save Project
Step 5 - Happy Editing
Step 6 - Save and Close Project
