 LAB ASSIGNMENT # 20 – Demo TAPE

Points or grade basis:  100 Points

Due:  see schedule

Goals of the Assignment:  

            1.  To learn the technique and mechanics of making a demo tape for employment.

            2.  Practice in determining what to leave in and what to take out

            3.  To present yourself and your abilities in a video presentation.

Assignment Description:

1.  A combination/highlight DVD of the best of what you have done in your career so far.  

            2.  This tape must be under 4 minutes.

            3.  You may use footage from anything you have ever worked on.   

4. Include typed resume. 

6. Use any music you wish.        

Turn in a DVD copy along with your lab assignment sheet.

 

DEMO REEL ORDER

1.             introductory slate with name, address, ph #’s, e-mail address etc. :10

2.             Montage or what you are about to show. Think of the montage as a TV Show introduction. Grab my attention. :20-30

3.             Best Stuff First. An array of editing projects you have done.
