increase your skills on Final Cut Pro software.

and importing video footage.

Increase your pacing skills.
Assignment Description:
This exercise is a short video/film scene from the 1950’s popular TV show
Gunsmoke. Using the dailies and script provided you are to edit this scene as
if it was to be aired. This includes, logging, producing an E.D.L.,
selection of available shots to tell the story, proper use of
transitions, proper selection of cut-aways and cut-ins. There are dozens of
different ways to edit this scene. It is up to you as the editor to decide which editing
style to use.

Murch's Rules of 6. With your amazing editing talents this scene should
come alive.
You
must turn in a vhs copy of your production along with your E.D.L., and logging
sheet.
