a.       open to all offenders

b.      open to all offenders provided they wear a monitoring device for 3 years after release

2.       In a court case a couple of years ago, doctors stated that in their opinion, chemo and radiation treatment had a good chance of curing a 13-year-old girl’s cancer. Without that treatment they said, she would die. The girl’s parents and the girl herself stated that she did not want this medical treatment. They stated that if God wanted her to live then prayer would cure her. The Court sided with Child Protective Services and ordered that the girl was to be removed from parental custody and treated for cancer in the hospital. Was the Court was right to make this order?
a. Yes
b. No

3.       In Iraq we routinely collect DNA samples (just a swab inside the mouth or nasal passage) of everyone we question. Those samples are then recorded in a large DNA database along with the person’s name and description. What’s good to do over there is good to do here too – we should collect a DNA sample of everyone questioned by police and record this DNA in a national DNA database. Then we can compare unsolved crimes and crimes to be committed in the future to this database and probably solve many more crimes. Is this a good idea?
a. Yes
b. No
