Want to learn about male and female sexual anatomy? In addition to your text book, this tutorial can help you to learn about your own body and that of the other sex.  It is based on Our Sexuality by Crooks and Baur.

There are two goals of learning: retention of information and understanding. When information is presented in more than one way it makes retention better. Relating this information to your own body makes it easier to understand the complexity of sexual anatomy.

This tutorial uses both pictures and text and requires you to interact with your computer. That creates dual coding in the brain and makes it easier to recall what you have learned. When it comes to human anatomy this applies not only to how well you will do on your next test, but how well you will understand and care for your own body.

 

Three Ways to Learn

1. This tutorial begins with pictures and text to help you learn the body parts. Reading the text and associating it with the pictures and your own body will help both retention and understanding. 2. This tutorial includes  "flash cards". By  repeating the information enough times, you can commit it to memory. 3. The tutorial concludes with multiple-choice questions so you can check out how well you know the material. These questions cover only a sample of what you have learned, so don't take the test first.
