Use the cumulative frequency column to find the class interval that contains the median.  This is the class interval that has a cumulative frequency greater than or equal to

Identify L

L = the lower real limit of the class interval that contains the median
 

Identify Fi

F= the frequency in the class interval that contains the median
 

Identify CFb

CFb = the cumulative frequency in the class interval below the class interval that contains the median

 

Compute the Median
